#okay so unlike a million other people I didn’t read this book in middle school #so imagine when i watched this movie finally #all innocent like thinking it was just going to be a cute little adventure movie #FALSE #THIS MOVIE RIPPED MY HEART OUT AND THREW IT ON THE GROUND #RUDE

I remember a couple of my friends telling me they were gonna go see it and I was like

WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! DIDN’T YOU READ THE BOOK?!

And none of them had. You know, I really hated having to read it in 4th grade but I’m glad I did because I was warned ahead of time. Seriously this book. As fucked up as “Where the Red Fern Grows” I tell you.
